its been a while...

ok so its been a fair old while since I started this, and to be honest posted on it aswell! but seeing as though I'm a student now I figure its about time I did something!

thats right I'm now a student, I've gone from the hard working, busy bee of Bournemouth Water to now studying a degree at possibly the best media school in the country, thats right...........

BOURNEMOUTH!

ok so I haven't gone too far, infact I drive past where I used to do my old job every day! but still, its nice to have a change for a change change change!

now theres 2 reasons I've started this 2 (with the possibility of 3) year course, 1 is to naturally further my skills in stuff i already do and the other is too meet new people, don't get me wrong I love al my friends and people I've met in the past but still, you can never have too many friends right? plus who knows I might meet someone special.....


so yeah, 2 years confirmed studies at Bournemouth uni doing Multimedia should keep me busy, its stopping me doing alot of stuff too though. The conventions will have to be scaled down a hell of alot as theres no way in hell i'd be able to afford to go.

Although speaking of events, I'm actually looking at organising my first ever convention! pretty exciting, although not sure how do-able it is, we're see! I've been wanting to do one for a while but wasn't sure what to do so I chose a show thats unbelieveably popular in this country but hasn't been done yet.....

naturally I'll have to see what the actors/actresses are able to do and such (apparently the guy who played Dr Kelso is quite elderly now so who knows) but itd be good to fly them over.

Day 2 - a teenagers hell....or a cock up, either way it was fun!

ok so its currently carnival week in the area I live in, and naturally all the grockels are down in force. Upon circuling the town before heading home me and my fellow passenger who will remain nameless (Oli) saw a huge party of people loitering near the pier, and we figured it to be our job......no wait......our duty too report this too the Police to deal with said group.

We actually only saw it from a distance but we knew it was kids at least!


anyway, after reporting it, again a team effort being that he used my phone too phone them we went in for a closer look and what were we presented with........................

ADULTS!

bloody adults! it was a school party by the looks of it, wierd thing was there was a small car with its boot open at 1 point so thats what made us wonder! anyway, we had another look around, saw some people we knew had a quick chat with them then the Police turned up so we scarpered pretty pronto! quite an enjoyable eventful evening though :)

Hi, my names Doug, first time I've written one of these things so bare with me!

abit about me would always be a good start, well, I'm 26, and I live in Dorset - UK. I've been thinking for a while now to start 'blogging' too see what the crack is about! I mean I don't even know if people will read this! lol But until I try you never know!

I've currently got alot going on in my life at the moment, with the debate of whats happening with the house almost finalized. Debation on whether to become a bum (student!) again or not and currently building 3 Dalek props. With that and working on a DVD and trying to have some source of social life is tiresome! which is why possibly my social life is failing currently!
